The Michigan Cosplay & Photography Group is excited to host monthly Cosplay Workshops at the Sterling Heights Library.Whether you're interested in trying cosplay for the first time or just looking to connect to the community in person, this cosplay workshop is a great space to learn all about the craft, meet new people, and work on your own projects.
This month we're getting to work! Whether this is the push you need to get started or you have some details to finish before con season, bring your costume or a prop to work on while we chat about all things cosplay. Plus, we'll talk about the best methods on transporting costumes and props so they don't get ruined before the event!
Every session we'll vote for what we want to focus on next month. Topics can be anything, including but not limited to:
-Makeup/special effects
-Posing/Photography tips
-Wig styling
-Prop making
-Elevating costumes/Designing original costumes
-Travel/Packing costumes
-Sewing 101
This group is open to costume makers of all fandoms, styles and skill levels, ages 13 and up!
