About this Event
Greetings, fellow nerds! Have you ever wanted to get into cosplay but have no idea where to start? Me too! After years of trial and error, I’ve learned some crucial tips for creating a character accurate cosplay from scratch. In my beginners cosplay class, you’ll learn how to design and budget for your cosplay, alter thrifted pieces to match your vision, make props and key costume pieces from things you find around the house, and even get tips on how to survive a convention day in full body paint!
Class schedule:
10/4 2-4:30pm: We'll discuss budgeting and learn how to design a cosplay fit for you, as well as go over finding cheep pieces that you can alter to fit your vision.
10/11 2-4:30pm: This class will focus on sewing, adjusting, dying, and painting the clothes you’ve gotten for your cosplay.
10/18 2-5:30pm: We’ll talk about prop making and how to turn objects around the house into a sick sword for your cosplay.
10/25 2-5:30pm: During our final class we'll focus on makeup, styling wigs, and last minute adjustments for your finished cosplay!
Open to all ages!
