Scottish/Dutch philosopher, poet and historian of science Marieke McKenna is joined by Iranian traditional Persian oud player Sepand Dadbeh in a unique performance created for Paris-based Cosmos and Matter in which they artistically and intellectually explore how humanity has cross-culturally and historically viewed the cosmos and the dream world. By framing the cosmos as the outer macrocosm and the inner dream world as innerspace or the microcosm, we explore philosophical, spiritual and scientific perspectives on the phenomenology of our experience as conscious human beings.
