Rock & Roll is dish best served with thundering guitar and a drum/bass backbeat that shakes the room. Lester’s Pearl serves that up and more with soul and blistering improvisations. Stylistically, the band has no true bounds borrowing from 60/70s era rock, jazz, and outlaw country…by the end of the evening, there is very little untouched sonic landscape.In the spring of 2023 the band released an extended digital single titled “A Love That’s Whole” — a near 7 minute musical journey— inspired by a trip starting at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains and ending in near disaster! The band’s debut at the Queen (with Brian LaPann Trio) in March 2023 entertained a near sell out crowd.
