We’re looking forward to seeing you at the zoo!

Cosley Zoo is following the guidelines set forth in the Restore Illinois Plan. The safety of our guests, staff and animals is our top priority.

Here is what you need to know for your visit:

• Timed entry tickets - All zoo visitors, including Cosley Zoo members, Wheaton Park District residents, children, and non-members/non-residents are required to purchase/reserve a timed entry ticket in advance. Please see below for more detailed information.

• One hour visit - Each timed ticket provides access to the zoo for one hour. Please proceed to the exit once your visit is done.

• Face coverings - Zoo guests who are not fully vaccinated and children age two and over are required to wear masks when indoors.

• Early arrival - If you arrive at the zoo before your scheduled entry time, please wait in your car until the time indicated on your ticket.

• Gift Shop open - The Wild Side Gift Shop is open. Face coverings are required for those who are not fully vaccinated, including children ages two and over.

• No refunds - Refunds will not be provided. However, you may transfer to another available date and time within 5 days of your original ticket. Transfers must be completed prior to your reserved entry time. You are unable to transfer tickets after your original reserved date and time has passed.

• Weather - The zoo is an outdoor facility open rain or shine. Please come prepared for all types of weather. Tickets will not be refunded for inclement weather.

Ticket Details & Restrictions

Tickets will NOT be available at Cosley Zoo and must be reserved online. A ticket is required for each individual guest regardless of age or status (member, resident, etc.)

The zoo will be limiting the number of visitors in accordance with state guidelines. This will be accomplished by offering timed ticket entry staggered every 15 minutes.

Tickets may be reserved up to five days in advance.

Select your arrival time - Tickets can be reserved for time periods starting at 9A with the last admission time window at 4P (zoo visitation hours are 9A-5P). Guests may enter within the 15-minute window listed on the ticket. If you arrive at the zoo before your scheduled entry time, please wait in your car until the time indicated on your ticket. In order for the zoo to be able to maintain appropriate numbers to comply with guidelines, late arrivals will not be admitted. You may transfer to another date and time within 5 days of your original ticket. Transfers must be completed prior to your reserved entry time. You are unable to transfer tickets after your original reserved date and time has passed.

A Cosley Zoo online timed ticket must be presented for each individual in your group for entry into the zoo. We are temporarily unable to accept complimentary tickets and discount coupons.

Zoo members will need their photo ID, membership card and timed ticket (printed or on a mobile device) for admission. Wheaton Park District residents will need their resident ID card and timed tickets for entry.

Children 17 and under are free but require an online ticket. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a person 18 or older.

To transfer your tickets to a different date/time, log into your Eventbrite account and select "Tickets". Select your order and click "transfer" to see your options. Follow the prompts to complete your transfer.

If you or anyone in your household are currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or simply are not feeling well, please stay home and visit the zoo at another time.
