$5 Tickets per guest. Each stroll is limited to 10 guests. Pre-registration required. About the Event
July 31, 1871, the story of the City of Colorado Springs began. A small group of people gathered near what is today the southeast corner of Cascade and Pikes Peak Avenues for a founding ceremony. Over the past 150 years, the city grew and developed around that very spot where the first stake was driven. As we venture to and around the three historic downtown parks - Acacia, Antlers, and Alamo - we’ll explore stories of celebration, innovation, and determination.
SESQUICENTENNIAL
This tour is drawn from the Museum’s newest exhibit, COS@150, which features 150 objects, illuminating 150 stories, commemorating 150 years. Learn more about the exhibit and explore options to get involved in the City’s sesquicentennial [se-skwi-sen-ˈte-nē-əl] commemoration and celebration.
PREPARE FOR THE TOUR
