Cory Hanson has been making music in Los Angeles since 2010 as the frontman of WAND and lately as a solo artist. Wand have records on GOD?, In the Red and Drag City. They’ve toured the US and Europe numerous times. Cory's released three solo albums on Drag City and he’s also played and written and recorded with Pangea, The Meatbodies, Ty Segall, and Bill Callahan & Bonnie Prince Billy.
Like a sweet spring breeze after a long, cruel winter, Cory Hanson’s blowing through town again. And like the wind, I Love People comes from parts unknown. Need a ride? Despite all the complications of life here in Central Casting 2025, Cory and the boys are happier than ever to be playing music at its most beautiful for ALL the people: eminent hipsters bellied up to the bar alongside the ropers, riders and all the other jokers for whom freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose or do. Followers of Cory’s twin arcs as solo singer and Wand member will be intrigued to learn that the lineup here is the same band that recorded last year’s Vertigo. Yep, Wand — their Masters of Unbounded Space robes traded in for Wrecking Crew trucker’s caps, as they reel out licks both tasty and smooth, like chopsmeisters of yore. That’s Robbie Cody co-producing behind the desk, Evan Backer playing bass and arranging strings and horns, Evan Burrows on drums and percussion and Cory on piano, guitars and voices and songs.

Scott Hepple and The Sun Band are a psychedelic/garage rock band based in the UK, currently signed to renowned label Rise Above/Popclaw Records. After self-releasing two albums in 2023/2024 and touring extensively, (including headlining Jack White's Third Man Records in London and playing shows with Johnny Echols' Love), the band are releasing their third album English Mustard on Rise Above/Popclaw records on 2nd May 2025. English Mustard was produced by Liam Watson (The White Stripes, Tame Impala, Electric Wizard) at Mike Oldfield's Tilehouse Studios using all analogue equipment. The band will be touring the UK and Europe throughout 2025 to support the release.
