This month, the Corvallis Museum will be displaying National AIDS Memorial Quilt panels from the mid-Willamette Valley 1989-1995 in contribution to the Corvallis Arts Walk.The panels on display here were made by Responsible Mothers and Others, the Valley AIDS Information Network, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, among other Corvallis groups in the 1990s.
A lecture by local HIV/AIDS activist and educator Dharmakrishna Mirza will happen at 7:00 pm during the CAW event. The lecture is free and open to the public.
The Corvallis Arts Walk is an artist-run organization dedicated to connecting local artists and community members through a monthly in-person and virtual arts walk featuring artists in Corvallis, OR. The Corvallis Arts Walk takes place each third Thursday of the month. See a list of all participating galleries and venues.
Admission to the Corvallis Museum will be FREE during the CAW event.
