Corporate Team-Building Pottery Workshop

Your potter and host will bring all the equipment and materials you need for a fun and engaging introduction to hand-building pottery class. You don't need any prior skills - just bring your creativity and your team! We can tailor the session to suit your specific group and needs.

Our workshops can accommodate 6 - 12 people, making it a great choice for smaller - medium groups looking to build bonds and work collaboratively. The price includes a professionally finished and glazed piece for each participant.

After the class, we'll take your pieces back to our studio to dry, fire, and professionally glaze them. You'll receive your finished pieces in around four weeks, ready to display or use as a reminder of your team-building experience.

What you get

• Experienced potter and host,
• Introduction to pottery hand-building,

What the venue will need

• A boardroom (or large room) with table/tables and chairs, where all participants have space to sit comfortably. If using a boardroom with a large boardroom table, 12 people can usually fit quite comfortably.
• A cup of coffee/tea or alternatively, if afternoon drinks are a regular Friday afternoon practice, a glass or two of wine or beer.
• A place for our participants to wash their hands and potter to clean-up after the event.
• Accessible parking will be required at the premises for unloading/loading of materials and final pieces. Please message before booking if you’re unsure if parking will be an issue for us.

• Approx. 2.5 hours.

Capacity

• Minimum 6 people – maximum 12 people.

Skill Level

• No prior experience required.

Your Host

Hayley is a Perth hills potter who has imparted her knowledge of pottery with the community for the past 3 years. Her approachable yet professional demeanor makes her an excellent fit for facilitating corporate team-building activities, where she is able to foster a creative and enjoyable atmosphere.

Terms and Conditions

Parking & Access

Accessible parking will be required at the premises for unloading/loading of materials and final pieces. Please message before booking if you’re unsure if parking will be an issue for us.

Setup/Cleanup

Our potter will need access to the venue to setup around 1 hour prior and 1/2-1 hour post event to cleanup.

Hand-building Workshop

This is a hand-building workshop. The pottery wheel is not included in this event.

Breakage

Please be aware that the nature of pottery is a delicate one, and occasionally a piece will break or crack in the kiln. We always do our best to ensure your piece arrives intact but if your piece does break, a refund can not be offered.

Return of Pieces

Finished pieces will be returned to your preferred venue at our expense once completed. This usually takes between 4-6 weeks due to the extended process of drying, bisque firing, glazing, glaze-firing and packaging.
