Each year, HAAM hosts Corporate Battle of the Bands, giving professionals a once in a lifetime chance to unleash their inner rock star for a good cause. Austin-based businesses pull their talented employees together and showcase their unsung talents as they compete at the award-winning ACL Live at the Moody Theater. Competing bands rock-out during 12 minute sets, working to impress a panel of celebrity and music industry judges who ultimately decide which band will leave with the title of Austin’s Best Corporate Band.Bands aim to impress a panel of celebrity and music industry judges who ultimately decide which band will leave with the title of Austin’s Best Corporate Band. Attendees will experience music styles ranging from pop to heavy metal to alternative, and much more. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
This fundraising event is vital to the continued success of HAAM and our mission of providing access to preventive healthcare for Austin’s working musicians. Support from the Austin business community and music-lovers like YOU is essential to keeping music in Austin alive and well. Every dollar raised at this event, and through sponsorships, is turned into seven dollars of healthcare services for local musicians.
