Spend the weekend with ICRME as we welcome everyone from all over to return to the decade that made us, no Doc Brown or Marty McFly needed!
The 80’s, the decade that turned the world upside down. Back when the news was just the news, and MTV embraced the M in its name.
The decade that brought us cellphones, the Internet and your Game Boy.
Nighttime was spent with Designing Women, an A-Team, some Golden Girls, a Knight Rider and a Dynasty.
It was not uncommon to encounter Thundercat's, Eternians, Smurfs, Snorks kids from the Cabbage Patch and a Peculiar Purple Pieman from Porcupine Peak. (Hachaha)
We all spent time with The Breakfast Club, The Lost Boys, some Top Guns, Ghosbusters and a few Goonies. Often, we were found In Sandlots, Fields of Dreams, on Elm Street or with Miami Vice.
One could Rock N Wrestle, Wax on, Wax Off, Press Your Luck, head down to Fraggle Rock or look for the Beef. We were friends with Donkey Kong, Alf, Pac-Man, and Punky Brewster.
We acted up, where we were the world, with hands across America, with a needed Band Aid to help those who the world tried to forget.
There were Malls that had music stores, food courts and concerts. Where we rocked the casbah, pushed it, lived on a prayer and never gave you up.
It truly was bodacious, gnarly, outrageous and all out tubular to the max time to be had.
