The sport of strongman is a fantastic supportive sport where every comp I’ve been to has involved competitors all cheering each other on in a challenging but extremely fun day! Be brave and have a go you won’t regret it !! Great day out for spectators !! There will be a donation bucket for admission with 100% of the proceeds going to 2 charities being split 50/50 between Huntingtons Disease Association and Marie Curie Cancer.
We are running 3 categories. Men’s novice Men’s intermediate and Woman’s .
Events are log press ftoh in 60secs
Yoke carry ,
Deadlift max reps in 60 secs
Moving medley ( farmers , sled drag and keg carry)
4 Atlas stones in ascending weights onto a platform.
Evan’s & son electrical Log press chalk allowed no grip tops or tacky
Novice 85kg Intermediate 110kg Woman 50kg
FMW Construction Yoke carry 30m. 15m up drop & turn 15m back. No grip tops allowed.
Novice 250kg Int 300kg women 160kg
Deadlift for max reps in 60secs. Lifting straps allowed . no suits .
Novice 180kg Intermediate 240kg woman 120kg
SJ Andrews Moving medley . No grip tops no tacky or straps.
Farmers novice 100kg per hand . Inters 120kg per hand. Woman 70kg per hand.
Sled drag weight tbc(train heavy)
Keg carry Novice 70kg inters 100kg woman 50kg
Atlas Stoneworks Atlas Stone ascending weights. To be loaded on to platforms. Fastest time wins. Height tbc tacky allowed

Inters 100kg 120kg 140kg 160kg
Woman 50kg 80kg 100kg
T-shirts for all competitors and trophies for top 3 in all categories.

I understand that Receipt of Payment by Cornwall's Most Powerful Man and/ or other competitions held by Cornwall's Most Powerful Man is acknowledgement of the below waiver of liability.
In consideration of being permitted to compete in
"Cornwall's Most Powerful Man," and /or any other competition held by Cornwall's Most Powerful Man I recognize and agree that:
The risk of injury from activities involved in this competition is significant, including but not limited to serious physical injury, muscle or skeletal injury, permanent paralysis, possible impairment to general health and even death.
I knowingly and freely hold all responsibility for any injury that may occur during participation in the above competitions.
I acknowledge that I am in good physical state and in fit health to participate and do not know of any conditions or reasons that I should not take part in the above competitions.
I acknowledge that the events and weights listed in the competition I have entered are within my ability.
I further agree and hold Cornwall's Most Powerful Man blameless for all claims and liability of any kind, including injury, illness and death which may result in consequence of participating in any competitions organised by Cornwall's Most Powerful Man. I acknowledge that I have read and agree to all of the above when paying for any competition organised by Cornwall's Most Powerful Man whether by bank transaction, card payment, or cash.
