About this Event
In this talk, Guy English will take us on a deep dive into the wells of Cornwall, many previously undiscovered. From 2014 Guy and his late wife Catharine attempted to visit all the known holy wells in Cornwall, and on the way identified 20+ not mentioned in earlier books. Subsequently Guy “completed” the search and based on Catharine's records, produced a book in 2024, partly as a memorial. But there’s always one more well….
Guy English worked for Kodak in “old mill towns” then came to Cornwall in 2001 to do more sailing and as it turned out, gig rowing. Catharine studied theology, briefly worked making maps, but was by nature an artist, poet, botanist, and an inveterate recorder.
Tickets are free with an annual pass.
