Our fabulous Winter training is back and Cassy Gadsby has agreed to come back and join us for another year and will be teaching our flatwork side of the Winter training again this year.Cassy Gadsby is a freelance equestrian coach based in mid Cornwall.
Trained at Turville Stud home of the Thurman-Baker family, Cassy has a particular interest in classical dressage and the groundwork which goes towards building the muscles and balance for the ridden work.
After completing her degree at Hartpury College Cassy worked as an Feed Advisor for Allen & Page Horse Feeds along side training and building her business.
A nasty accident in 2011 meant Cassy’s career path had to take a different course, less riding and more coaching. She now has a strong interest in improving horse’s core stability using pole work, thus having an effect on gymnastic jumping ability and dressage suppleness.
Cassy is a recommended trainer for the British Association of Working Equitation and holds clinics throughout the UK to improve the understanding of this exciting sport.
Although Cassy still rides she now plaits and prepares horses for some of the most prestigious shows such as Royal Windsor and HOYS. Travelling all over the country teaching people to Plait and turnout their horses in style.
This year we will be running with groups of 4 for an hour each, starting at 4 or 5pm depending on entries. You will be placed in groups of similar ability.
