About this Event
The second annual Cornwall Good Food Summit brings together organisations and individuals working to create a better food system for Cornwall.
Join us in the beautiful setting of Nancarrow Farm to:
Be inspired by the groups, projects and businesses making a difference through food – by creating health, tackling climate change and restoring nature, contributing to a thriving and fair Cornish economy and building more resilient communities
Connect and collaborate with others across Cornwall’s food system – food producers, growers, policymakers, health workers, food buyers, educators, community and voluntary organisations, cooks, caterers and others - to support and grow your project, idea or business
Explore key debates and questions about what sustainable food is and on what scale change is feasible
Contribute your ideas, perspectives, experience and aspirations - to be part of the Good Food Movement and help us develop a plan to transform the food system in Cornwall
Share a delicious local, sustainable and healthy lunch from Nancarrow’s wood-fired kitchen
Take away fresh ideas, insights and contacts to help with your good food goals. Do you want to reduce your inputs and carbon emissions? Buy (or sell) locally, or find ways of getting better food into your local school, healthcare setting or community? Are you looking for development support for a food business or programme? If so, there’s something for you
We want everyone to be able to participate in the Summit, and for cost not to be a barrier. So this event is FREE, including lunch: select 'free ticket'. If you would like to make a contribution, please choose 'ticket with optional donation' at registration. This is appreciated and will help us make this event and others like it accessible to all.
