Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies while having fun with one of the precious kiddos in your life? Come WALTZ through this amazing and fun adult/child sugar cookie decorating class taught by Cornerstone Creations & Cuisine! In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around cookies and icing! Everything you will need is provided at class along with a live, in-person instructor so just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).
You will have the SWEETEST time with a special child in your life as you decorate these adorable PRINCESS-themed sugar cookies with blue, white, silver, and brown icing! (This is a Cinderella-inspired set!) Plus, when it's all done, you and your favorite kiddo can DELIGHT in the set of cookies that you decorated TOGETHER and enjoy them a second time! You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies, plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, and the FAQs are below. This class is a COOKIE BUDDY class. What does that mean? It means this class is set up as an adult/child class. (One adult/parent/guardian is REQUIRED to attend with each child under the age of 16.) Want to know if you can also purchase a ticket set for you and your best friend? You absolutely can! This class will be set up for pairs and, even if you're just a kid at heart, you only need a parent or guardian if you're under the age of 16!
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about. When you take these gorgeous treats home, your family will think you've MET YOUR FAIRY GODMOTHER because they will look so good! Your family will say YOU'RE THE QUEEN when you bring these beauties home! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're just trying to make SPARKLY memories and have fun with the LITTLE ROYALS in your life, extended family, or friends, you'll have a blast and will be in with these cookies! We will be decorating this fun Valentine-themed cookie set that tastes amazing and will look fantastic once you’re done!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU and YOUR COOKIE BUDDY! Each pair of students gets (1) 6-cookies kit that also contains 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary so you can have a blast decorating this set together! You can each decorate 3 cookies or you can both share all 6! It's up to you and your buddy! Everything is prepared before class, so no baking or icing mixing is required. You just get to decorate!
This class is on Saturday, 9/28/24 and starts at 2:00 p.m. sharp, so please arrive 15 minutes early so we can get set up and have enough time to decorate, while answering questions along the way. Bring your cookie buddy and come on in! Want to take the class but don't have a cookie buddy? That's perfectly fine! You'll have a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or taking it solo!
THIS IS A SPECIAL CLASS AND IT IS SET UP FOR AGES 5+, but please know we use *sharp* tools so your cookie buddy will need to be able to follow directions and be safe with the tools. If you'd like to leave the kiddos at home and attend either by yourself or with a friend, purchase them an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids under 5 or kids that may not do as well with the sharp tools because they can decorate them with you at home and still be able to enjoy the fun, or you can use them to spend more time practicing your skills when class is over.
