This event is specifically for core volunteer interest and involvement! THIS IS NOT AN EVENT FOR CHILDREN.Mabel's Misfits is about to begin something impactful! But there is so much left to do!
I have so many amazing things to share with you!
Last year, I had a vision that we could bring everyone together through our love and passion of nature, and by doing so, help prevent continued destruction of our local environment. I want to bring people together of all ages, abilities, genders and beliefs to create a community of people who take care of our wildlife and help rescue unwanted animals but to also involve and educate our community how to conserve, grow, care for and appreciate the world around us. Every misfit matters and I need your help to make it possible. I am looking for volunteers, coordinators and those with a little free time to help make this mission a success!
If you have an interest in being involved, whether that's a few hours here and there or a more active involvement on a weekly basis, I know that we can get Mabel's Misfits off the starting line and make a huge impact not only in our local community but eventually nationwide!
Experience is not required but if you have an interest or experience in any of the following areas, you could really help us get the ball rolling! -non profit,
-publicity,
-fund raising,
-grant writing
-education,
-media,
-accounting,
-construction,
-landscaping/gardening
- mental health outreach
- youth groups/scout/guide leaders
Please only attend if you are seriously interested. ALSO Mary's has a great menu and full stocked bar! If you want to order food/drinks please do so, prior to the meeting so we don't run over time.
I will also be taking Tshirt orders at the event! :)
