Join us for an engaging and educational morning at the YMCA Naples Gaynor Early Learning Center as part of our Nature-Based Early Learning Enrichment Program! This unique event is designed to introduce children to the vibrant world of coral reefs and the importance of marine conservation.
During this activity, children will:
- Create Coral Models: Craft their own coral structures using pipe cleaners, fostering creativity and fine motor skills.
- Learn About Coral Ecosystems: Gain insights into the diversity of coral life and the challenges these ecosystems face.
- Engage in a Class Project: Embark on a two-month journey to care for a classroom fish, learning about aquatic life and the responsibilities of pet care.
This hands-on activity will not only teach the children about marine biology but also emphasize the role they can play in protecting our planet’s precious resources. We look forward to a fun-filled and educational morning with our young learners!
