Have you ever wondered how bonsai are created? Join us for an interactive course designed for families with children (10 and up) that are interested in learning more about the incredible art and fascinating science of bonsai. Try something new and expand your understanding of the botanical world! (It's also the perfect way to celebrate Father's Day at the Botanic Garden!)
Create your own outdoor bonsai starter with experts from the Sakura Bonsai Society who will be on hand to guide you step-by-step along the way. This course includes a small starter bonsai plant and all tools and instructions necessary to create your own mini masterpiece.
A bout the Instructors
T his class will be led members of the Sakura Bonsai Society. The Society was founded in 1990 by Traverse City local, Eunice Corp, who had been practicing bonsai since learning about it while she and her husband were living in Hawaii years prior.
