ORM 2024 Annual Conference Payment Instructions

Please read the following information carefully:

Registration

· Registration must be completed by April 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.

· A $50 ticket must be purchased for each attendee.

· Registration is $50 whether you attend the conference in whole or in part.

· No cash or EFTs will be accepted under any circumstances.

· No refunds will be given, but substitutions can be made.

· If registering by Credit Card, select and complete the appropriate fields in Eventbrite to proceed with the Credit card Screen. If you will be paying by Check or Interagency Transfer (Z8), choose “Pay by Check” as your Payment Method.

Payment by credit card through Eventbrite:

****Whenever possible, we encourage payment by credit card.

· In the “Payment” Section, choose “Credit/ Debit Card” as your payment Method

· Complete “Required Fields”.

· Click “Pay Now”.

· If personal credit cards are used, travelers must follow their agency’s rules and regulations for reimbursement.

· If LaCarte purchase is declined, an MCC Code override must be sought. Call your LaCarte contact at the Office of State Travel and request that they override the restricted MCC code and allow the purchase.

Payment by Check:

· Make checks payable to the Office of Risk Management.

· Mail checks on or before April 16, 2024, to Office of Risk Management, P.O. Box 91106, Baton Rouge, LA 70821-9106.

· If your check cannot be mailed in time for us to receive it in our office by April 8, 2024, please bring it to the conference to submit at the registration desk.

· Checks must be accompanied by registration confirmation for each registrant.

Payment by Z8 Interagency Transfer

· If your agency wishes to pay through LaGov Z8 Interagency Transfer, please contact our accounting department. We will initiate a Z8 document with ORM’s lines of coding and send it to your accounting department to input and approve your agency’s lines of coding.

· Email Ruby Scheffler at [email protected] with “Annual Conference Registration” in the subject line and provide the following information:

o Your agency’s LaGov Business Area number

o Name of Organization

o List of Participants

o Contact Name and Number

· ORM will initiate the Z8 and approve the ORM line of coding and notify you to complete it by Z8 by inputting your agency’s coding and approve the document, which will transfer the funds to ORM. Please complete the Z8 process on or before April 18, 2024.

Due to limited space, all attendees must be pre-registered. Registration will not be allowed on the day of the conference.
