Kayak Trip - Lewes to Hamsey & Back
Join us for a gentle kayak trip from Barcombe Mills to Isfield weir and back!
The adventure begins at the Barcombe Mills car park, where we will meet and kit up.
Get ready to paddle up a beautiful river against the gentle current. No experience nessesary just a healthy sense of adventure, and basic coordination is required, this trip can be a long one but will be calibrated to those who are less able. There are several spots to pull out for a rest. Do bring a packed lunch as fuel. We will plant some seeds along the journey, before returning to the water with the current to return us to Barcombe.
Bring clothes you don't mind getting muddy, and a change for after. Jeans & heavy clothes aren't advised, athleisure wear best suited.
Check the weather forecast for temperature and chance of rain.
Kayak, Bouyancy aid, paddle & seat will be provided.
Please do not RSVP if you can't attend, it blocks the place for another.
Refunds will only be given if someone is able to replace you.
