McHugh’s Venue proudly presents the grand relaunch of Drogheda’s ONLY regular comedy night, Deadly Craic Comedy Club (formally known as the Crescent Comedy Club) on Friday August 29th. We are now in a brand new venue, on a brand new night, with a brand spanking new name!
For just around €15, on the last Friday of every month, you get a night of big laughs from some of Ireland’s finest comedians. Get ready for superstar headliner, Emma Doran! Emma has taken off in the last few years; she's a huge Instagram sketch comedian, TV star and hilarious stand-up comedian. After 2 sell out shows in Liberty Hall in 2022 in a couple of days with her show Mad Isn’t It, Emma set out to chase those big venues as a headliner. 2003 saw Emma’s first nationwide tour with 3 nights in Vicar and 2 nights in Soho Theatre, London. Since then, Emma's been everywhere; The Late Late Show, Briget and Eamonn, Callan's Kicks, Celebrity Gogglebox, not to mention her successful podcasts 'Keep it Tight' with Drogheda's own Deirdre O'Kane and 'You're Grounded!' This will no doubt be a sell-out!
Not only do you get a famous comic in an intimate setting, but you also get a killer lineup featuring some of the country's best up-and-comers, such as the hilarious Diane O'Connor and Stephen Elliot.
