3-Hour Workshop

Description: You are invited to join us to create an eco-conscious Coptic bound art book with the help of artist, Shelbey Abranovich Tharpe. Shelbey will guide you step by step through the process of transforming humble materials into a sturdy and beautiful book. This textured paper book is perfect for use with acrylic paint, graphite, ink, and collage, but we trust that you will find our own favorite ways to use it!
Tuition: $55 + $15 materials fee
Materials: All materials will be provided.

Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.
Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.
About the Artist
Shelbey Abranovich Tharpe is interested in the intersection of arts + health. An intuitive painter and mobile art teacher, Shelbey is best know for her bold and color saturated figurative paintings on canvas and paper. Along with painting, Shelbey works in book making, mixed media, and clay, gathering stories of empowerment and self-efficacy throughout her work. Shelbey also studies are therapy at Seton Hill University where she is a graduate student.
