This copper foiling glass workshops will focus on making beautiful little stained glass light catchers for your windows, tree or as decorative gifts for friends or family.You will learn how to cut glass safely, how to use a glass grinder, how to apply copper foil and how to solder it all together. There will be a choice of templates for you to use for your light catchers. This will be a fun filled day so why not come with a friend?
The day includes all materials and use of equipment. Please bring an apron and wear closed in shoes. Refreshments are available throughout the day, just bring your own lunch or purchase it from the on site café. This workshop is ideal for beginners as well as those who have more experience. Not suitable for children.
The workshop is run by glass artist Kate Doig of Firewolf Glass, who also exhibits at Somerset Craft Gallery at the Avalon Marshes Centre.
