About this Event
Monday, December 8 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm * correction to the bulletin
Many of us look forward to the holidays with expectations of family togetherness, laughter and joy, but for those who are caring for a loved one the holidays can bring unwanted stress, disappointment and even sadness. Caring for a family member with memory loss, illness or a mental or physical disability is a sacred gift – it’s holy work. So how do we push to the side the unhealthy emotions, too little sleep and stress to experience the true meaning of the holiday season with those whom we cherish most? There is hope. Caregivers can learn to cope with the holidays and lean on their faith to experience less stress and more joy.
Join us for this free workshop where you will explore proven practical, emotional and spiritual tools you can use to help you go from coping with the holidays to finding peace in what matters most and letting everything else go.
