Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is the third most common mental health conditions among Singaporeans. This disorder forces a person to perform repetitive physical or mental activities in order to feel “safer”.
These uncontrollable behaviours can cause seriously impact a person’s life, affecting areas such as work and family, and can worsen over time. It can be more debilitating than other serious physical illnesses, such as cancer, hypertension, or diabetes. However, it is treatable and sufferers can obtain relief from their symptoms.
