Ahead of the UN’s climate negotiations in mid-November, the Climate Justice Coalition is convening groups from across the climate movement to organise mobilisations, events and actions to pressure the UK government to end our reliance on fossil fuels.
We are calling for climate justice. The world has no more time to delay the phase-out of fossil fuels. As world leaders gather for the UN’s annual climate negotiations at COP29, thousands of people will take to the streets worldwide for a Global Day of Action to demand climate justice.
Across the UK, we will unite to demand the government ends our reliance on fossil fuels, pays up for climate finance, and ends its complicity in Israel’s escalating violence. Without human rights, there can be no climate justice.
