Matthew Jacobsen is a Des Moines-based comedian armed with an array of stories, voices and faces. His high-energy act skews more silly than shocking. Matthew placed first in the Funniest Person In Iowa Contest, won the Iowa Freshest Comics Contest and the DSM Funny Bone Clash of the Comics. He has been featured in comedy festivals in Iowa and across the country including Altercation Comedy Festival and The Cleveland Comedy Festival where he received the Nate Cockerill Stage Performance Award.
