About this Event
The Coon Rapids Rotary - Octoberfest Sampler '25 is a fundraiser for two Coon Rapids High School Programs:
1) The Respect Retreat put on by Youth Frontiers. This is a one-day retreat for every 9th grade student with the following objectives:
· Help students realize they matter, others matter and what they do matters.
· Understand that disrespectful behavior is harmful and engage bystanders to stand up.
· Identify ways to improve the culture of respect in your school and community.
2) The Coon Rapids High School – Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, a program designed to expose students to STEM-related careers, including those in the medical, engineering, manufacturing, and technology fields.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
6:00 Doors open with Food & Beverage Sampling, Silent Auction Bidding & Live Music
6:30 Brief welcome by Coon Rapids Rotary Club President, John Piper
7:30 Heads or Tails Game #1
8:15 Silent Auction Bidding Closes
8:30 Heads or Tails Game #2, Split the Pot Cash Drawing, & Grand Prize Raffle Drawing; Program and Food and Beverage Sampling Ends
