Come Celebrate a Decade of Humane Animal Service“Cool Cats Pizza Party” Fundraiser
On November 15th, friends are invited to the “Cool Cats Pizza Party” fundraiser to celebrate “Forest Hill Friends” many years of humane animal service. The event will be held at the Third Presbyterian Church, 395 Ridge Street, beginning at 6pm.
“Forest Hill Friends,” is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded and spearheaded by long-time Forest Hill resident Linda Lobdell. Her tireless, decade-long efforts involve personally handling nearly one thousand cats, work which includes arranging a temporary home, food, neutering, vaccinations, and other medical care.
“I’ve always been an animal lover,” Lobdell recalled. "A trapper showed me the ropes, and I thought maybe this is something I can do, rather than feeling helpless when I see animals in need.”
To continue this important neighborhood effort more resources are desperately needed. All tickets purchased for this fundraiser are tax-deductible and must be made in advance. Adult tickets are $25 each; children ages 12 and under are $5 each.
