About this Event

COOKSMART Community -- is a nonprofit organization that sponsors participants to engage in life skill building classes and events, specifically to increase learning and confidence with nutrition and kitchen skills. The COOKSMART Community Harvest Festival is inviting all past, present, and future COOKSMART supporters to participate. Whether you are a camper, after school participant, parent, or a newcomer there is something for everyone. Look forward to family cooking - school lunch ideas, popcorn flavouring, cookie decorating, soup making and tasting, Indigenous crafts and cooking, cooking contests, learning about your community that encourages healthy eating and engaging with the cause!

Entrance into the COOKSMART Community Harvest Festival is on a tiered basis with five options. Please donate what you wish depending on what activities you want your family to participate in. Each donation level allows for a specific level of free participation for your whole family within the event.

The tiered entrance donation is as follows.

Donation Amount:

- -Non-perishable Items for Compass food drive at the door -> Entrance into the event only.
- $20-> popcorn flavouring, soup tasting
- $50 -> popcorn flavouring, soup tasting, and cookie decorating
- $75 -> popcorn flavouring, family cooking demonstration - soup, cookie decorating, sock puppet or corn husk doll craft
- $100+ -> popcorn flavouring, - $75 -> popcorn flavouring, family cooking demonstration - soup, cookie decorating, sock puppet or corn husk doll craft, and COOKSMART Challenge Participant
