About this Event
Bring the kids to Mitchell Hall to learn to cook a fun summertime menu that is approachable for kids of all ages. Food writer and chef-instructor Shawnie Kelley will guide you through assembling skewers with marinated chicken and a rainbow of veggies to be grilled. (Pro tip: Allowing the kids to make kebabs might persuade them to eat their veggies!) We’ll assemble a colorful corn salad that is perfect for picnics or cookouts. For dessert, we will make fruit-filled hand pies that are versatile and sure to indulge any sweet tooth. After class, enjoy your meal together with lemonade smoothies and an included grown-up beverage. An adult must accompany children (age seven and older). We provide adult and child-sized aprons.
The registration price includes a ticket for one adult and one child.
