Join Chef Antonio from Horizon's Meals on Wheels program for an afternoon of cooking. Attendees will walk away with a grocery list, recipes, and skills to make delicious and nutritious meals at home while being mindful of overall cost. This program is open to patrons of all skill levels. Registration for this program is required, as space is limited.
About Horizons: Horizons has provided opportunities to improve the lives of individuals and families throughout our community for 60+ years. Horizons offers a variety of human services across Eastern Iowa through, Meals on Wheels, Financial Wellness, and Neighbor Transportation Services, while following out mission to Instill hope, strengthen families, and brighten futures by providing life-changing services to underserved populations.
The groceries for this program are graciously provided by Walmart on Blairs Ferry Rd NE through their Spark Good Program.
