Artists will create a customizable tray to be used as a holiday tradition to leave cookies for Santa. This is a fun and exciting class that offers artists an opportunity to create a family heirloom in a fun & educational setting. This tray measures 13¾" L x 9¾" W x 1¼" H and is a food safe upon firing. Participants are welcome to BYOB beverages and snacks to enjoy throughout the evening. Adults only for this event. Bring those kiddos in to create another time, we are giving those busy moms time to themselves tonight! When checking out please place the name you would like to have on the bottom in the notes to staff. Examples include your child's name (ex. Jessie) or a family last name (ex. The Brumley's). *Project should be done for Christmas. However, if there are unforeseen circumstances, we cannot always guarantee that statement! Art Objectives:
Discover stencils and screen printing as it relates to ceramics
Explore various pottery painting techniques
Extend your knowledge ceramics
Creations will not be taken home on the day of class. Artists will add glaze to their projects and our team will take over the responsibility of adding a clear coat and firing. Participants will be notified when the piece has been fired and may return during regular retail hours to pick-up their piece.
Cancellation Policy for those that are unable to attend:
If you are unable to attend the class, your ticket for that class/event is nonrefundable. We are happy to have you transfer your ticket to a friend or family member to attend the class in your place. Unfortunately, due to supplies, payment of instructors, and limited seats, we are not able to offer refunds or a transfer into another class.
Cancellation Policy due to low enrollment of the class or instructor illness:
To run our classes CURIO needs a minimum of 4 sign-ups. If CURIO should have to cancel the class for any reason including limited enrollment registered participants are able to:
1) Move their ticket to another open class or rescheduled class
2) Receive a digital gift card
3) Get a refund. We strive to avoid cancellations but promise a fair process in unforeseen circumstances should CURIO be the one canceling!
