Artist Carolyn and Boutique Owner Connie are hosting a fun holiday class event.
1. You will make a recycled paper bag journal in holiday theme.
2. Class is after hours (store closed) so fun private event to get into the holiday spirit.
3. Each person needs to make 3 dozen home-made cookies (2 dozen to be divided among everyone to take home and 1 dozen to share that evening.)
4. Wear festive clothing - but remember it is still a class and you need to create!
5. Plan to just enjoy the holiday season with friends, laugh, sip on wine, and have a great evening!
6. Cost is $40 person - max is 10 people.

These recycled paper bag journals have loads of pockets for keepsakes and ephemera. These journals have many uses: recipes, book club reads, travel journal, receipts, keepsake of pictures of the grandchildren, your pets, etc.
Decorate with your style and theme. Artist, Carolyn will have several examples for you to see to get your creativity flowing. In the class you will also make journal cards and embellished tags, and learn stamp art and stenciling and you will even make a mini journal to go into a pocket….all supplies included. There will be plenty of paper, stickers, embellishments but feel free to bring something else to make your journal extra special. Each journal will be complete with a a tie closure.
Carolyn is a full-time local resident of Venice. She loves working with mix media and fibers. Carolyn has taught classes for 10 years and is enthusiastic and easy going. You will love her and her classes!
Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artist needs to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
