Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Little Bean's bakery is here to help! In this class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).We’ll be enjoying our fall favorites for this cookie decorating class! You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, credits, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.
About this Class
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating a set of 6 fall-themed to complete this set as we deep-dive into all things sugar cookies!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 22 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!
The class will be helped at Cafe CoCo & Bean in Beaconsfield located at 445 Beaconsfield Blvd, Beaconsfield, Québec H9W 4C2.
Things to Bring
Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things I recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!
· Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).
· Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
· Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.
Allergens
Heads up – these cookies include the following common allergens: soy & gluten.
If you put two and two together, you'll notice that means the cookies are vegan! Don't worry, you would never be able to tell! I'll also give you the secret to my egg-free royal icing.
Please note, however, that my bakery is not certified allergen-free free so I cannot guarantee no traces of nuts, dairy, or egg.
