Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies? It's Mardi Gras time which is a perfect theme for this cookie class!
Stacy with Lilac Lane Cookie Co. is here to help! In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics of sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with in-person instruction.
** Please arrive early to order a drink or food to enjoy during class.
About this Class
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're just trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We will be doing a fun Mardi Gras themed set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each participant gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! I even share my recipe with you for future baking.
This class is on Monday, February 16th and starts at 1:00 pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Come by yourself or bring your friends - we have seating for up to 12 people! You will have a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member or solo!

A little about me –
I am located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I bake and decorate cookies for all sorts of occasions but I love to teach others the joy of decorating sugar cookies! I have classes throughout the year which highlight different themes. It’s the sweetest job in the world! When I am here for the snowbird season, I love to teach in Sandestin and share the joy of cookies!
