"A rare talent, hysterical and accomplished" Time Out
" The ultimate crowd pleaser"The Guardian
"The Gods of comedy chose Tom Wrigglesworth or greatness" Time Out
With a disarmingly charming delivery and unforgettable appearance, Yorkshire funny man Tom Wrigglesworth became a national have-a-go-hero when he rescued a little old lady from the jaws of a Virgin train ticket inspector; only to be arrested for begging.
His subsequent story of the event secured Tom several awards including the Chortle Best Show Award, and a nomination for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award.
This led to a sell out tour of the UK, and runs at the New Zealand Comedy Festival and prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.
Following this, Tom recorded two series of Tom Wrigglesworthβs Open Letters for BBC Radio 4, tackling consumer issues in his own hilarious way and winning a highly acclaimed Sony Award for Best Radio Comedy along the way.
As a natural and engaging television presenter, Tom put his technical background to use when he appeared on Electric Dreams (BBC 2), advising a modern family as they fast forwarded through three decades of technology. He then presented Engineering Giants (BBC 2), which saw Tom climbing aboard an oil platform, servicing a passenger ferry and dismantling a jumbo-jet whilst interviewing various engineers to keep the viewers informed as the three major strip downs unfolded.
Further television credits include being a regular contributor on The Discovery Channel where he explains the science behind crowd sourced stunts and experiments on the popular show You have been warned, the Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live, Russell Howard`s Good News and The Comedy Gala all for BBC Three as well as The World Stand`s Up, Edinburgh and Beyond and three series of The Comedy Store all for Comedy Central.
Since winning the Channel 4 new comedian competition So You Think Youβre Funny in 2003, Tom is now firmly established as one of the most original, talented and respected comedians on the UK and International comedy circuit.
Tom is also a regular host of Radio 4`s Comedy Club, and has also guested on BBC Radio 4βs Loose Ends, Newsquiz, The Unbelievable Truth, The Now Show, Act Your Age, Itβs Your Round, The Infinite Monkey Cage, You & Yours as well as BBC Radio 2βs Out To Lunch and Claudia Winklemanβs Arts Show. He has had regular guest performances on BBC 6βs Jon Richardson Show and has co-presented on Richard Baconβs Radio 5 Show and The Rhod Gilbert Show on BBC Radio Wales.

"F**king Brilliant" John Bishop
"Thoroughly impressed, best Iβve seen in ages. Great warmth and style" Dave Spikey
"Really like his stuff." Jason Manford
Dave is upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feetβ¦just some words that have been used to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit today.
Dave has performed at a number of music festivals such as Leeds, V Festival and Download. Its no wonder then that Dave is one of the few modern comedians who proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet β a relatively new tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic.
Heβs an affable, quick-witted comedian who somehow survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow.
With jokes and tales that you canβt help but relate to, he endears himself to even the rowdiest of audiences with ease and quite rightly is in hot demand at the biggest comedy clubs in the UK and overseas.
Dave has appeared on Made In The Northwest (ITV) and his radio credits include XFM Manchester, BBC Manchester & Key 103.
Hosted by Bren Riley
There's nothing bland or predictable about this stand-up comic. Brendan's Liverpudlian accent and lively blend of anecdotes, gags and inspired improvisation brings a refreshing blast of cheerful North Western humour and makes him a sought after headline act and MC.
