The Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition hosts breakfast for each of our local National Guard and Reserve units in our region. We try and do this prior to their annual two-week training events. The event includes purchasing the food, bringing grills to the Armory, cooking and serving, and then cleaning up. On average, we cook for about 100 Service Members each time.The event needs six to eight cooks with Blackstone’s and about a dozen others for food preparation and serving. We try and be in the Armory by 7:00 AM and serving by 8:00 AM. We then try to finish, clean up and leave the Armory by 9:30 AM.
The event also has an opportunity for groups to sponsor. Your organization can be a food sponsor for $250 or an event sponsor for $500. For more information, please reach out
