TIM CONVY AND KEVIN BOWERS are childhood friends who started playing music together as teenagers in the rock n’ roll powerhouse known only as HOTT LIXX.
They spent their adult lives chasing that thrill. Convy plays keyboards in nerd-rock outfit Ludo who performed on The Tonight Show, Warped Tour and more. As a writer / comedian Convy has worked for MTV and Comedy Central, collaborated with Nikki Glaser, and performed at comedy festivals including Netflix is a Joke, The Nashville Comedy Festival, and The Motor City Comedy Festival. Meanwhile Bowers is an in-demand studio and live drummer who’s performed on several continents. Bowers has opened for Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, and more. An accomplished solo artist as well, he recently took his original jazz project “Nova" to The New York Jazz Fest.
But both men longed for more. Finally in 2023 they reunited as Convy & Bowers, taking on the establishment armed only with one guitar, half a drum kit, and of course the power of rock n’ roll.
