Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please join us starting at 8:30 AM for coffee, light refreshments, and fellowship.
Topic: 1775, and the lead up to the American Revolutionary War. Masons played a significant role in the American Revolution by providing leadership, fostering unity among men from diverse backgrounds, and spreading ideas of liberty and fraternity. Please join us for what is sure to be an exciting discussion.
The Maine Masonic College is honored to have as speakers:
Shawn Eyer, the Managing Director of Communications and Education of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia.
Liam Riordan, History Department faculty and Department Chair at the University of Maine at Orono with a research focus on the American Revolution, Public History, and the Atlantic World in the Long Eighteenth Century
Major Andrew DeFabio, instructor in the American History division at the U.S. Military Academy, Westpoint.
