About this Event
Jerry’s story is a familiar one. Former L.A. stand-up comedian (and mall Santa!), hears God’s call to leave the bright lights of show biz and dedicate his life to doing the Lord’s work. Well maybe he is a little different. In L.A. Jerry began doing stand up, film and television. He was the house Emcee at the Improv comedy club in Hollywood and a contract writer for Jay Leno. Jerry performed for more than a million people all over the country before he was 25. Despite enjoying his work very much, Jerry changed directions in his 40’s and moved to Denver to attend Iliff School of Theology. Join us as Jerry will share about his journey as a pastor, bartender, comedian and questioner of all things religion.
