There are essentially two dimensions to the building surveying profession – the organisation of building work to maintain, extend, adapt or improve existing buildings, and the assessment of the condition of existing buildings. On this part-time course you'll study the first of these. You'll develop the core knowledge and skills required to undertake this work; an understanding of both building technology and an awareness of maintenance, alteration, extension and refurbishment of buildings.
