Wednesday 16 October: Dealing with Death
With Stella Duffy
As a society we’re not very good at talking about grief, loss, and death, we prefer the positive, the upbeat, the hopeful. And yet every one of us will lose people dear to us, and every one us will die. What if we could let death be something we talk about with both sadness and joy? What if we could choose to live towards death, letting that direction inform our everyday lives?
Join Stella for an honest and open conversation about death and loss as part of life.
Stella Duffy is a novelist, yoga teacher, and existential psychotherapist, her doctoral research was in the embodied experience of postmenopause. Having lived through two cancers and, most recently, two brain surgeries, she has found great value in letting death be part of who and how we are.
