Conversations with Cacao!

Come and experience a beautiful mid-morning session of Cacao, community, conversation and connection.

Held in the vibrant, private function room at Zendaily on Sturt Street, we will gather together to share a cup of Cacao and connect through The Art of Conversation card game.

Cacao is an ancient plant medicine used for thousands of years by the Mayan people in Mesoamerica to connect with themselves, the earth, and their community. It is a heart opening medicine that helps foster deep connection with self and others.

Cacao is such a profound medicine that the Mayan people would even use it for political negotiations between different tribes! That way they could set ego aside and decide on outcomes truly for the good of the community.

Cacao (koko) is also considered the national drink of Samoa, it has been used to foster deeper connections and a return to lightheartedness by the matai (chiefs) and family groups. When you're visiting aiga (family) in Samoa and the koko pot comes out, you know you're about to deep dive into conversation and connection.

Our conversation game, The Art of Conversation, is a fun way to connect with others by asking questions that go beyond typical 'small talk'. Paired with Cacao, it helps us to capture some of the energies of heart-centred deeper engagement with others described above.

Conversations with Cacao supports relationship building whilst also revealing things about the way we perceive the world that perhaps we were not consciously aware of! I can speak from experience when I say that it is also a lot of fun 😍

Please note that the group is kept intentionally small - with just six spots - so that each individual has an opportunity to participate.

Tickets are just $20pp (+booking fee). This includes: your serve of Cacao, information on how to prepare Cacao at home, fun conversation, connection and snacks!

Important:

Cacao can clash with caffeine. It is recommended to reduce/limit the amount of caffeine you have on the day of the event, and please eat lightly during the morning.

I recommend you bring along a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Cacao may also have some contraindications with serious heart conditions, anti-depressant medications, and pregnancy.

We will be experiencing a mid-dose of Cacao (20g) but please raise any concerns you may have at the time of booking.
