This is a 24-hour community awareness event where our team will sit on a public bench, inviting open conversations about homelessness, hunger, and hope. For many experiencing homelessness, benches represent hours of waiting, resting, and hoping. By being present, we seek to raise awareness, break down stigma, and create space for compassion.
You are invited to stop by the bench and join the conversation, share your thoughts and prayers, or simply spend a few minutes in support. The event will take place from October 9 at 3 PM through October 10 at 3 PM at 214 Wichman St.
