About this Event
Each year, nearly 4,500 Canadians die by suicide, leaving behind 7 to 10 survivors who must navigate the difficult path of loss and healing. To support those impacted, we are hosting the second annual Conversations of Hope in recognition of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.
This event offers a space for survivors to come together for healing conversations, reflection, and community. Join us for guest speakers and group discussions designed to help survivors connect, share, and heal.
Hosted in partnership by the Distress Centres of Greater Torontoβs Survivor Support Program and the Centre for Grief and Healing β Bereaved Families of Ontario, Halton/Peel, this day of remembrance and support is open to anyone affected by suicide loss.
While there is a fee to attend, we are committed to making sure financial constraints are not a barrier to participation. For more information or assistance, please contact Alex Shendelman, Manager of the Traumatic Loss Program, at [email protected].
