An Evening of Quintets and Spanish Flair
Join the West Jersey Chamber Music Society as we open the 2025–26 season with a vibrant program of chamber music spanning continents and centuries.
At the heart of the concert are two powerful quintets: Antonín Dvořák’s Quintet in G Major, Op. 77, a work brimming with lyrical charm and Czech folk energy, and Giovanni Bottesini’s Gran Quintetto in C minor, a Romantic-era gem full of passion and virtuosity.
Complementing these masterpieces are colorful selections inspired by Spain, including Isaac Albéniz’s Suite Española and Tango and Manuel de Falla’s spirited Seguidilla from El Sombrero de Tres Picos. The program also features Florence Price’s deeply moving Adoration, a testament to the expressive power of American classical music.
