Join us for our first annual Convention of Excellence. At our C of E, we will be playing boardgames starting at 1pm on Friday and going till the wee hours each day, enjoying shared meals, and building and strengthening friendships. 3 gaming tables available, plus up to 2 more temp card table setups as RSVPs dictate.We have two guest rooms available (queen and twin bed accommodations) for anyone coming from out of town or any locals that wants to stay over for maximum gaming.
Menus:
Friday: spicy NM green chile breakfast burritos w potatoes (lunch), potluck soup/salad/fresh bread (dinner)
Saturday: crepe bar (brunch), chili haystacks (dinner), apple cake (dessert)
Sunday: fresh fruit smoothies and warm pressed sandwiches (brunch), tamarind glazed pork with rice and cucumber salad (dinner).
And of course, there will be endless snacks all weekend! Plus game giveaways!
Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we have an accurate headcount and leave a note on the event discussion page with details as to your expected specific dates of attendance (for example, "I will be there all day every day" or "I will be there all weekend starting on Friday evening, but won't be able to attend Sunday". Also make a note if you need to claim one of the guest rooms.
Finally, please bring along any games from home you'd like to play that aren't in our library, an offering for Friday night's dinner (a soup, fresh bakery bread, or cash donation), and any goodwill offering of dessert, snacks, or funds you want to provide to help defray the expense of our C of E.
