This training day is for contractors and woodland managers to learn about Temperate Rainforest Ecology and Management, including an introduction to Rapid Rainforest Assessment and Lichen identification. Funded by Species Survival Fund (NHLF/DEFRA).

11:00 - Tea Break (tea + coffee provided)
11:15 - Presentation on Temperate Rainforest management / Lichen ID and Rapid Rainforest Assessment – Angie Cruse (Plantlife)
12:30 – Lunch (provided)
1:30 – Guided walk of Temperate Rainforest/ Natural Flood Management operation, discussion on temperate rainforest management techniques + introduction to Rapid Rainforest Assessment in the field
4:00 – Return to Yarner Woodland Centre + wrap up
4:30 – Depart
